Our results indicate that a mutation in CHO cells that changes Thr211 to Lys211 abrogates the ability to arrest in G1 and apparently renders cells capable of amplifying DNA. However, this mutation has no effect on the G2 checkpoint or on acute down-regulation of DNA replication after a radiation challenge."xsd:string
