http://purl.uniprot.org/proteomes/UP000007303http://www.w3.org/2000/01/rdf-schema#comment"Tetraodon nigroviridis also known as the green pufferfish is a popular aquarium fish. It is readily available and is easily maintained in tap water. The green pufferfish can live for up to 15 years if kept in the right conditions. However, it can be aggressive when placed with another of its own species. The green pufferfish is highly carnivorous and will feed on crustaceans, worms and krill. In the wild they can be found in fresh and brackish water in the coastal regions of Indochina and the Philippines to India."xsd:string

In 2004 a draft of its genome sequence was published in Nature. The Tetraodon genome project is a collaboration between Genoscope and the Broad Institute (MIT). The genome is predicted to contain 19,602 protein-coding genes."xsd:string
